I tried out a new web app tonight called Floorplanner.com, and I created a 3D model of the first and second floors of the Houston Technology Center. Hopefully this will help people navigate through the building at 3DCAMP!

I will continue to update the speakers page of the website as I receive bios and head shots, but feel free to check out who is on there so far. Talks will cover a wide range of topics including freelance game development, 3D building information modeling (BIM) in architecture, photorealistic rendering and advanced architectural modeling, 3D jewelry design, geophysical software and GPGPU programming with CUDA, asset management pipelines in game development, and much much more.
Check out the speakers page for more information.

This animation was found on a Craigslist post looking for a freelance animator to create a similar animation for an Alaskan hockey team. It really needs no introduction, please enjoy:
I think I enjoy watching this one more than Colin’s Bear Animation. What do you think?
