    Nathan Eror

    Nathan Eror  Nathan Eror is the founder of iPhone game studio Free Time Studios. He has been building iPhone apps since the initial release of the SDK and has nearly 10 years of experience developing software. In that time he has worked on PlayStation2 and GameCube tools atMetrowerks, the customer portal at Rackspace, GIS visualization toolkits at INT, as well as his fair share of “enterprise” software at JPMorganChase. Most recently, he co-founded the web 2.0 photo sharing site http://www.natuba.com/. Nathan lives in Houston, TX where he feels awkward talking about himself in the third person.

    Bridgette Mongeon

    Bridgette Mongeon  Bridgette is the owner of B. Mongeon Sculpture Design Studios.   A Sculptor of nearly 30 years she embraces the new technology that she now uses in her own work flow. She is the coauthor of Digital Sculpting In Mudbox Essential Tools and Techniques for Artists and is presently working on a second book about fine art and technology, a book of inspiration showing the artist’s processes as well as a  needed source book for artists who want to explore the technology in their own studios. She received her BA at Vermont College and her MFA-IA at Goddard College with a  dual focus, Digital Technology in the Traditional Art Studio and writing.  She is also the host of several podcasts including The Art and Technology Podcast.

    Frank Davies Frank is a Electrical Engineer who works at the Johnson Space Center.  After discovering reprap.org in 2009, he built a repstrap 3D printer from scavenged parts.  He subsequently used that printer to make parts for two other 3D printers as well as many other things.  He is a a member of the Houston hackerspace, Txrxlabs, where he can often be found near the 3D printers.

    Johannes Huber   Johannes Huber is an alumni of the Gnomon School of Visual Effects and has worked in the entertainment industry as an artist, technical adviser and project manager for fourteen years. His past clients include Electronic Arts, Paramount Pictures, Interplay Games and he has worked in every stage of production from initial concept to final product release. He has also been an instructor for high end graphics programs such as Autodesk’s Maya, and Apple’s Shake compositing system as well as teaching new technologies such as digital sculpting and consulting on how digital art can be used as an effective cost and time saving tool for businesses running the gamut from medical visualization to product design to corporate identity.

    Vikas Sodhani


    VVikas Sodhani is a designer/engineer/artist living and working in Houston, TX. He enjoys metalsmithing, designing code and electronics,
    visually communicating through graphics, and dreaming big.

    Holding a degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from MIT, he segued from the technology startup world to jewelry design after a year in India opened his eyes to the beauty of ancient Indian handmade metalsmithing.     Larry S. Evans

    Larry S. Evans II is a classically trained painter who began working with digital imaging in the late 1980s. He expanded into digital 3D in the middle 1990s as 3D software applications began to become affordable for individual use.

    He has been involved with a number of user groups, forums, and professional organizations  related to creative software, including the Adobe Creative Suite Ambassadors and SmithMicro Poser Ambassadors. For the last 10 years he has been associated with the online Poser community RuntimeDNA, where he pioneered the Art Talk forum – aimed at introducing classical art critique and discussion into the nascent Poser art environment.

    Evans has worked in Europe, the Middle East, and the US as a digital imaging and printing consultant, and produces animation, design, and video for private and corporate clients. He continues to work in traditional media and methods along with and combined with digital tools. In addition to painting, he works with photography and videography, sculpture and construction, and much of his work feeds back into his interests in short films and cartoons.

    He is proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Premiere, After Effects, and Audition; SmithMicro Poser and Poser Pro; E-On Software Vue;  DAZ Bryce, Hexagon, and Studio; and NewTek Lightwave.

    Steven Ramirez

    Steven Ramirez  Is the owner of Smash Design a Hollywood prop and set fabrication company. Steven first realized the need for new 3d fabrication methods while he worked on Hollywood movies sets for Film Director Robert Rodriguez at the world renowned studio Trouble Maker Studios there Steven discovered the need for 3d CNC machines which opened up new doors in the set construction world. But it wasn’t until working directly for ex-NASA Senior Robotics Engineer Chris Lovchik that his knowledge of 3d cnc all came together. Steven worked as an industrial designer for Lovchik’s tech company that fabricated the famous Carvewright cnc machine.

    Steven’s company Smash Design has since constructed numerous large scale projects for clients such as NASA, Saks 5th Avenue, Versace, Maersk, Cosentino, TLC, Warner Brothers, and NBC TV’s Extreme Home Makeover Edition. He uses large CNC’s to carve and create his 3d computer drafted models and themed environments and polishes them with old world sculpting and finishing techniques.
