3DCAMP Houston is a one day annual conference that showcases innovative 3D technologies across a myriad of artistic and scientific disciplines with presentations and interactive sessions. From holographic paintings that tantalize the viewer to 3D printers that produce completely formed sculptures, there is something amazing for everyone to experience.
3D technologies continue to permeate all aspects of our lives including entertainment, visualization, simulation, learning, and social engagement. In a region as large and diverse as Houston, these technologies continue to have profound and transformational impacts on our personal and professional lives. The 3DCAMP Houston conference attempts to capture that spirit in a day long gathering of individuals who are interested in learning more about 3D technologies.
The primary goal of 3DCAMP Houston is to encourage and educate individuals about the use of 3D in various disciplines, and we strongly support the STEAM educational framework, which encourages the blending and education of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.
The 3DCAMP Houston conference has been held two times: once in November 2009, and once in September 2012. Please join us for the third edition of 3DCAMP Houston on October 5th, 2013 at the University of Houston College of Architecture!
