What is 3DCAMP Houston?
3DCAMP Houston is a participant-driven gathering of like-minded individuals – also known as an ‘unconference’ – with the goal of bringing together 3D professionals in any industry to network, share ideas, and explore opportunities. This includes 3D professionals and enthusiasts from creative and media backgrounds to architecture, engineering and scientific backgrounds whether it be film, television, game development, building information modeling (BIM), architectural visualization, geophysical software, health, or education.

The first 3DCAMP was held in Houston, Texas on Saturday, November 14th, 2009 at the Houston Technology Center

Who is Invited?
3DCAMP welcomes 3D professionals, software developers, freelance artists, hobbyists, students, and anyone else looking to learn from the 3D community in Houston. Why is it Called a Camp?
Our event is a community-driven conference in the style of BarCamp. “Camp” implies that the event is informal with an emphasis on face-to-face interaction with other attendees. “Community-driven” means that the attendees of the conference actually run the conference by discussing topics appropriate to the subject of the event.

Attending the camp is FREE!
3DCAMP is free to all who attend. We ask you that you Register so we can estimate attendance beforehand. 3DCAMP is supported by sponsors, volunteers, and the community.
